At Indy Metro Church, we acknowledge that everything we are, and everything we possess, is a gift from God. Sunday is not just a time of observation and experience, but of experiential participation.
The greeter at the door, the children's volunteer, the musician, the pastor... all is used by God to speak into people's lives, to be a living sermon. All are hosts loving Jesus and serving our guests looking forward to seeing God's family grow.
In some churches, members can become observers, consuming spiritual goods and services as if the church were a product, standing by while an exhausted, burnt out staff does all the work in the church and the community around it.
If Indy Metro is truly your church home, service will inevitably become a part of your life's worship. Pray and consider where you might best serve your brothers and sisters in Christ. Lend your help, skills, and gifts during the week, as well as on Sundays.
