A healthy Gospel centered church cultivates the people within to grow as followers of Jesus Christ. Simply stated, to grow as “disciples” of Jesus Christ. While “disciple” may not be a word that resonates with you, consider words like devotee, follower, or protege. We use the term discipleship.

When talking about discipleship we must broaden our understanding of the term to establish normal biblical discipleship. Most of us have fears and concerns around this issue of discipleship, which is why our intent is to reestablish normal in our relationships centered on Christ

Indy Metro is a church committed to to helping people grow in understanding and relationships with Jesus Christ. To do this effectively we encourage you to extend yourself deeper into the community and foster relationships centered on Christ. We believe that every follower of Christ is to cultivate relationships with other Christ followers in their local church to mature.

While we recognize that CityGroup's aren't for everyone immediately, we believe that every follower of Christ is to cultivate relationships with other Christ followers in their local church to mature.

CityGroup's are in essence “simple churches” hosted in homes throughout the city with people who together embrace Biblical community. Perhaps you have experienced various forms of the word “community.” We believe Biblical community when embraced together is the richest form of community available on earth.

Entering into a CityGroup marks a willingness to focus your life in sustainable relationships within Indy Metro Church. Jesus never intended for us to go at life by ourselves. He had his close followers to live life with, and provided a great example for us as well. He came to show us the way to a full life, and we believe this is a life that involved our commitment to each other in community.
