What I've found so often in my life is that I ask the question who is required to cultivate a heart of generosity? I mean, how much does a person have to own before there are "required" to be generous? Or what is the best life stage to begin being generous?
Will you consider an increased personal reflection and focused prayer over the next couple weeks as we prepare for the EVERYTHING series?
A passage that has been heavy on my heart from the text is 1 Chronicles 29:5, "Now, who among you is willing to consecrate yourself to the LORD today?" The unique usage of this invitation to consecrate ourselves to the Lord through our financial stewardship and generosity is powerful for me.
Looking forward to being inspired by the examples of so many of you here at IndyMetro!
