The ArtSpace: A Nod to Haiti
On Friday, March 5th in the ArtSpace during First Friday Indy Metro Church and The Athenaeum Foundation will be hosting powerful images of the people of Haiti to do our part to raise funds in support of the people of Haiti.
A Nod to Haiti is a collection of photos showcasing the resiliency of the Haitian people. Haitians who grow up with that resiliency because they have to. Because their lives are filled with earthquakes, hurricanes, little access to medical care or nutrition or education. Because their government is corrupt.
All money collected at this high-impact show will support local medical missions to Haiti. The artist’s show will feature photographs from her own missions to Haiti coupled with excerpts from her journal. Follow the ArtSpace on Facebook.
