Jesus never intended for us to go at life by ourselves. He had his close followers to live life with, and provided a great example for us as well. He came to show us the way to a full life, and we believe this is a life that involved our commitment to each other in community.

The CityGroup is the best place for sustained life change to occur.  For every person at IMC to receive the necessary life support and nurturing within our church, we all must be in a group. You will wrestle through the issues and decisions of life together and grow in knowledge of God's Word.

Learn-Play-Serve. This is the cycle that each IMC CityGroup participates in. For each group to grow together to the depth the Lord desires we believe the monthly calendar must include these three elements of growing.

Learn: This is critical element of Biblical study and learning. Each small group will come together 2-3 times in a month to engage God’s Word together.

Play: This is the element of fellowship, fun, and where friendships are deepened through laughter and celebrating life together.

Serve: This is the element of serving the community together. Each month your group will come together to serve others and be Jesus in the community.
