Indy METRO Church is an urban community of faith committed to loving people, loving Jesus and being immersed in service to our community.

Indy Metro Church Pastoral Staff
Pastor, Elder, and Overseer are all synonymous terms in the Bible. Pastors are those men who are called and biblically tested to lead. We are committed to the New Testament dynamic of the plurality of elder leadership. The Elder team oversees the administrative functions and overall vision of Indy Metro Church.
With Jesus Christ as head of the church, Indy Metro will be governed by a Board of Elders. Their primary responsibility is to seek God’s direction for our church and handle the following duties with competence and integrity.
Aaron joined the initial team of Indy Metro as an intern and then came on Pastoral staff. He was a part of IMC since its beginning is our Lead Pastor. He and his wife Carrie have four children and reside in the near Eastside community of Irvington.

Travis Derico Pastor, Spiritual Formation
Pastor Travis and his wife Laura along with their two children live in the eastside and committed to our new east side campus. Travis is involved in spiritual formation at Indy Metro, along with leadership in our eastside campus.

Ben Kunkel Pastor, Pre-field Missions
Pastor Ben and his wife Jennifer have five children and are primarily focused in our downtown campus. They have been involved at Indy Metro the past 5 years. They are currrently preparing to be sent to serve in Magdelana, Guatemala during the summer of 2012. Learn more about our partnership in Guatemala at
